Wildlife crimes are threatening tens of thousands of species around the world. There are gaps to be filled especially regarding regulation, enforcement, knowledge and engagement. We believe awareness and education are key factors for addressing wildlife trafficking.

HOW DOES ZOOLOGY WORK?

Take a Picture to Recognize it

Take a picture of an animal with its head and whole body. After 2 - 4 seconds the results are out. Our AI will tell you the accuracy and suggest similar matches.

Take a Video to Recognize it

Zoology works with videos too! Take a video of an animal with its head and whole body with enough light and good orientation, wait for 4 - 5 seconds before it gives you the results.

Oups, not an Animal ?

If you took a photo of a non-animal object, our AI will tell you that it is not a match. Check our tips to make sure you take the best picture you can.

Get Involved!

On your profile section you will find how many pictures of animals you've taken. And once you reach a certain amount of detected animals you start wining awards 🥳. So try to take as many pictures as you can!

WHAT DO OTHERS THINK ABOUT ZOOLOGY?

Anna, 32, Financial Advisor
Paris, France

"I think it’s definitely informative and makes me want to do more to help preserve them. I love travelling with my kids and we go back to South Africa at least once a year to see family. We often go to animal sanctuaries and I’m sure they’d also love me to be able to tell them more about the species we come across."

Arthur, 28, Social Media Influencer
Wisconsin, United Sates

“I love mixing pleasure and usefulness. Moreover I like travelling, taking pictures and I love to learn new things about nature and animals. It gives more information about particular species, you feel more attached to them and more concerned about their condition and well-being.”
